This is a rural county with a widely dispersed estate. Lincoln holds the most, with the coast at Cleethorpes and Skegness, the ports at Grimsby and Boston, and the market towns of Brigg, Bourne, Grantham, Sleaford and Spalding each carrying one or two. 14 towns in total have a pub.
Distances matter more here than in most counties. Lincolnshire is large and thinly connected, so the nearest Wetherspoons can be a genuine drive rather than a walk. The 1 pub with rooms above it is worth noting for the same reason, in a county where a late finish means a long journey home.
