Privacy Policy

Wetherspoons-Menus.co.uk is a reference site with no accounts and nothing to sign up for. This page sets out exactly what is stored, by whom, and how to stop it.

Effective from 26 July 2026. This date changes only when the policy itself changes.

What We Collect

What We Do Not
  • No accounts, logins or passwords
  • No newsletter list or marketing emails
  • No selling or sharing of personal data
  • No payment details, because we take no payments
Your Choices
  • Refuse or withdraw ad-cookie consent at any time
  • Clear browser storage to erase saved tools data
  • Email us to ask what we hold and have it deleted

Who We Are

Wetherspoons-Menus.co.uk is an independent information site about Wetherspoons menus, prices and pubs. Independent site. Not affiliated with Wetherspoons or J D Wetherspoon plc. If you have a question about this policy or about data we hold, email [email protected].

Information You Give Us

The only way to give us personal information is to contact us. If you do, we receive whatever you put in the message: typically a name, an email address and the correction or question itself. We use it to reply and to fix what you reported, and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.

Information Collected Automatically

Like any website, ours is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These exist for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

Advertising Cookies

This site carries advertising, which is what pays for it. Google and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads. Where the law requires consent, you are asked first and the ads are non-personalised until you agree.

Storage In Your Own Browser

Two tools on this site save your work so it survives a page reload. This happens entirely in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to us, and we cannot read it.

Clearing your browser's site data removes both, permanently. Nothing else is stored client-side.

Comments And User Contributions

There is currently no comment form and no rating widget on this site, so no user-submitted content is stored anywhere. Should comments be added later, this section will be updated first to say what is stored, where and for how long, not afterwards.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. Anything of that kind is configured without cross-site tracking and is not used to identify individuals.

Third Parties

Beyond our host and the advertising described above, this site does not embed third-party trackers, social widgets or comment systems. Links to Wetherspoons and other external sites take you to organisations with their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Some pages describe alcoholic drinks. Alcohol information is for over 18s only. Please drink responsibly.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. In practice we hold almost nothing: unless you have emailed us, there is likely no personal data to give you. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes To This Policy

If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top changes with it and the new version replaces this one on this page. We do not keep an archive of previous versions.
